Think about it—when you don’t feel well, it affects every aspect of your life, big and small. Whether it’s your ability to focus on your work, to make good food choices, to have healthy relationships, to feeling proud when you look at yourself in the mirror, or to even have the desire or motivation to leave your house and participate in the world. This goes way beyond “healthcare”, and into the realm of “Lifecare”.

Because I understand the power of wellness, there’s nothing I love more than putting on my “Health Detective” cap and getting to work on a patient’s case. Why? Because I’ve been there myself—feeling lost, misguided, overwhelmed, and desperate for some relief.  Thanks to an unrelenting desire to heal myself and a voracious appetite for knowledge, I figured some stuff out, and it then became crystal clear that my life’s purpose is to guide others to their natural homeostasis so that they too may thrive.

Working as a health practitioner since 2002, I’ve treated thousands of patients. I have a Master’s degree in Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine (and I am currently in a Doctoral Program for Oriental Medicine), I have B.A. in Anthropology with an emphasis on evolutionary biology, and I’m certified in a litany of Energy Healing modalities, various forms of Reflexology, and Nutrition—specializing in the Microbiome and Gut Health. I have traveled the world taking courses, workshops, seminars, and all manner of training to bring you the very best in medicine.

I am not your typical Acupuncturist or Nutritionist. I’m who you call when you’ve been to every doctor, specialist, and shaman—and you’re still unwell.

Holistic Medicine

Because everything is connected.

Every chronic condition has inflammation at its root. Your chronic back pain, autoimmune condition, or hormonal imbalance all have one thing in common—chronic inflammation.

Where is all this inflammation coming from, you ask? Almost all chronic inflammation can be traced back to a damaged gut or microbiome. I aim to fix that by blending the best of eastern and western medicine to get you centered and feeling well.

In a typical treatment, I will blend the services below to provide you with whatever you need to leave feeling better than when you walked in.

Over its 5,000-year history, Acupuncture has remained virtually unchanged. Every body is a micro-universe made mostly of salt water and electricity. Acupuncture facilitates the restoration of balance within this physiological interplay. The result? Well-being, which is our natural state of being.

Auricular Medicine

A medical system that utilizes the ear to diagnose and treat the mind and body, Auricular Medicine is a truly integrative approach, combining the best of eastern and western medicine. The ear is an extension of the brain and nervous system, so results are often felt quickly and profoundly.

Facial Reflexology

Based on Oriental Medicine, reflexology, and acupressure, Facial Reflexology (Dien Chan) is a deeply relaxing, healing, non-invasive treatment that utilizes a map of reflexes and zones on the face to rebalance and restore all biological systems in the body—which can remedy everything from physical pain to internal diseases.

For millennia, medical systems across the globe have emphasized the importance of strong digestion, a healthy gut, and a diverse microbiome as the keystones to health and wellness. The reverse is also true—an unhealthy gut is the “root of all disease,” as Hippocrates, the Father of Modern Medicine, stated thousands of years ago.
